RUNOFF TIME!!!

Our district. Our future.

Alex is a proud husband and father who returned to El Paso after law school to give back to the community that made him who he is. Alex’s Dad, Arturo, was a Vietnam Veteran who served as an Airborne Firefighter in the US Air Force and then went on to serve as a Civil Servant with the US Government for over 25 years. Alex’s Mom, Patricia, was a Paraprofessional with Special Education classes at Ross Middle School and Bonham Elementary and has since retired from EPISD. Alex’s brother, Adrian, is a Commander and Psychiatrist with the US Navy. Alex is a career civil servant with El Paso County and as a prosecutor, his main priority is to ensure that justice is done. Alex is running for trustee because he wants to be a part of a team that has the vision and ability to maintain and expand EPISD’s mission of empowering children to succeed by supporting dedicated and highly qualified educators and staff.

“District 2, and EPISD at large, deserves a leader who holds everyone to high standards and accountability. As a proud product of EPISD, I am invested in leading with my professional background in upholding the law. Decisions must be made with three priorities in mind: Student Achievement, Safety, and Fiscal Responsibility. I will support teachers and staff in every way possible so they have resources to ensure student achievement and excellence.”
